We currently have an opportunity for a Toolpusher to join our offshore Team.

Some of the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible on his/her shift for the safe operation of the drilling equipment and for ensuring that it is being operated in accordance with operational procedures.
  • Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the drilling program and that they are executed according to CDE's and client procedures.
  • Assist the Drilling Section Leader in execution of the maintenance of the drilling equipment.
  • Verify that all required consumables and equipment for the drilling section are available onboard.
  • Check that relevant level 4 procedures, work instructions and manuals etc. are revised where necessary and regularly reviewed.
  • Ensure good communication and working relationship with the OIM, the Rig Manager and section leaders as well as 3rd party and Client's representative.
  • Perform active leadership in cooperation with the DSL.
  • Ensure that work permits and SJA are established when required.
  • Communicate with all drilling section employees to ensure all are familiar with the necessary instructions.
  • Complete daily journals/logs in connection with drilling operations.
  • Actively follow up on his/ her own competence status in accordance with position and together with supervisor plan for training activities required to close any competence gaps.

 

Suitable applicants should ideally have:

  • Basic Offshore Survival Training
  • IWCF Level 4 - Driller Comb Surface & Subsea Cert.
  • Medical Certificate OEUK
  • MIST
