We are currently seeking a highly skilled Offshore Structural Engineer in Denmark on a 12-month contract. As an Offshore Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering activities adhere to applicable codes, standards, procedures, and the defined scope of work. Your primary focus will be on managing assigned tasks efficiently to meet project needs, while working collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals and effectively resolve any challenges that arise.
Responsibilities:- Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant codes, standards, and procedures to guarantee the highest level of safety and quality.
- Efficiently manage assigned tasks to meet project requirements and adhere to set timelines.
- Collaborate proactively with team members, fostering effective communication and problem-solving to maintain project progress.
- Take ownership of specific scopes of work, overseeing their delivery and being adaptable to accommodate necessary changes.
- Utilize your expertise in grillages and sea fastening to provide critical support to offshore engineering projects.
- Apply your knowledge and experience in transport and installation to ensure the successful execution of offshore operations.
- Draw on your extensive design and analysis experience to contribute to the development of onshore structures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), FEMAP, and ANSYS software tools to enhance engineering solutions.
- Display a strong understanding of international design codes relevant to offshore structural engineering.
- Utilize your expertise in installation analysis, detailed designs, and steel structures to create robust engineering solutions.
- Leverage your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, to present engineering concepts and solutions confidently to clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrate the ability to engage in client presentations, showcasing your experience and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with offshore certification requirements, fostering a safe and compliant working environment.
Requirements:- Hold a recognized Civil or Structural Engineering degree or a similar qualification.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Structural Engineering, with specific exposure to offshore projects.
- Showcase expertise in grillages and sea fastening techniques, as well as practical experience in transport and installation operations.
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge and experience in the design and analysis of onshore structures.
- Proficiency in using FEA, FEMAP, and ANSYS software tools is essential.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of international design codes pertinent to offshore structures.
- Possess practical experience in installation analysis, detailed designs, and steel structures.
