Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Digital Specialist ( Hexagon) Piping Designer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

Contributes to the delivery of Engineering excellence through:
- Actively participates in Competency and Training
- Providing discipline expertise to the business
- Executing assigned scopes of work
- Supporting task delegation to team
- Delivering against contract Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and business objectives
People:
- Provides coaching and mentoring as delegated
- Supervision of Graduate Engineers. Provides input to the performance management of direct reports
- Manages performance of direct reports
Process Ownership:
- Adherence to the discipline specific procedures and providing feedback for continuous improvement
- Support the development and delivery of the technical safety standard expectations and technical assurance
- Participate in audits & incident investigations as required
- Represent Operations EMEA discipline in the contract
- Actively maintaining own competence and continuous development
Subject Matter Expertise:
- Technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development
- Provide discipline support to the business
- Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promote to direct reports
Skills / Qualifications Qualifications:
- HNC / HND or equivalent professional qualification with relevant considerable experience
Minimum Experience:
- Demonstrable balance of industrial and management experience at relevant level and position
Role-Specific Skills:
- Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a practical context
- Capable use of discipline software and proactively encourage development
- Professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate team working skills
- Enthusiastic, conscientious, and keen to learn
