We are currently recruiting for a Welder / Pipefitter - Leading Hand based on site at Lytton.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Leading Hand. You will have the opportunity to become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for the ongoing maintenance at the Lytton Refinery.
At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.

This role will oversee the field execution of work bring completed by Welders and Fitters. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- A high level of OH&S knowledge to help maintain a high level of safety.
- Maintaining and repairing of mechanical apparatus, pipelines, and infrastructures
- Performing planned maintenance, reactive breakdown maintenance and shutdown work across the site
- Daily review of work within SAP maintenance system, Updating of SAP information
- Providing a valuable contribution with resource allocation and working closely with planning and senior management site team
- Liaising with Operations, Process personnel regarding operational requirements and targets
- Provide guidance, support and direction to maintenance team
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
- To be proactive in looking for ways to improve the reliability of equipment and reduce downtime
- Able to work closely with Electrical / Instrument trades and Project Group

Skills / Qualifications
- Level 1S Leading hand - An Australian recognised Welding & Fitter Qualification/s
- Boilermaker Trade Certificate
- 6G welding experience is highly regarded
- Prior experience as a Team Leader or Leading Hand
- Driver's License
- Well-developed communication and leadership skills
- Exposure to working with Work Area Permit Systems
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel )
- Understand P.ID and isometric drawings
- Working at heights
- Confined space
