Responsibilities

The position of Service Technical Service Rep. is responsible for shop and field equipment servicing including BOP rig ups and tear downs, hydraulic torque wrench jobs as well as equipment maintenance and operation on customer locations. This position will also be required to complete all other operational tasks as directed by Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Complete field hydraulic torque wrench jobs
  • Complete field rig ups and tear downs of BOP's
  • Complete priced work orders for field sign-off
  • Service and provide maintenance to all equipment, including shop and field repairs
  • Complete post-job equipment servicing work orders and submit to billing clerk in a timely fashion
  • BOP servicing troubleshooting and repairs
  • Complete daily crane and forklift inspections
  • Assist management in day-to-day operations in all aspects for Weatherford requirements, including other items not mentioned above Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous site knowledge of drilling and completion activities is an asset
  • Previous BOP service and repair experience an asset
  • Must be safety oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision
  • Ability to undertake special projects and see them through to completion
  • Strong trouble shooting and research skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and always interact responsibly with co-workers
  • Able to multi-task successfully in a fast-paced environment

 


Qualifications

Experience

 

 

  • 3-4 years related field experience
  • General product knowledge
  • Mechanical ability necessary to perform repairs
  • Valid Driver license
  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel computer skills
  • Self-motivator, self-starter
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to follow instructions
  • Able to work closely with fellow employees
