Overview / Responsibilities Wood is looking for Oil & Gas Electrical Drafter
The candidate shall be reporting to Lead Designer of a project for project work and Instrument & Electrical Department Head (HOD) on departmental issue.
Prepare Electrical design drawings in the use of software / tools (such AutoCAD), etc) to produce them for assigned tasks. Minimal direction / sketches needed from Sr. Designers or Lead Designers.
- Prepare Single Line Diagram, Lighting layout, Installation Details. Lighting Circuit Diagram, Earthing Layouts, Block Diagram, Interconnection Diagram, Wiring Diagram drawings, MTO, Sketches, Cable Schedule, etc
- Responsible keeping the drawings in correct filing system for easy to acces
- Communicate with designers and engineers to clarify technical issues associated with electrical drawings
Skills / Qualifications Electrical Drafter shall have a minimum qualification requirement as below:
- Engineering Certificate or equal
- Minimum 6 years of drafting experience with respect to Electrical discipine in Oil and Gas projects
- Expert-level of AutoCAD or other related 2D CAD software
- E ntry -level competence utilizing 3D modeling software such as PDMS or E3D
- Have a basic understanding of Electrical components, materials, and industry codes
- Good computer skill e.g. Word, Excel
- Team work, cooperative attitude, communication and flexible worker
