Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Electrical Designer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibility:

  • Coordinate all activities within the electrical design and interface with others discipline for the project.
  • Carry out drawings deliverable, PDMS/AVEVA model, AVEVA Electrical software.
  • Produces quality engineering drawings while ensuring compliance with department, project, company, and industry requirements and standards.
  • Participates in model review and construction review processes.
  • Ensure coordination with other disciplines is effective for project.
  • Prepare electrical MTO in line with project design requirement.
  • Ensure all engineering design procedure are followed in design drawings development.
  • Provide guidance and advice during design development.


Skills / Qualifications

The Electrical Designer shall has a minimum qualification as below:

- Diploma/Certificate in Technical course

- Minimum total of 10 years of design experience in oil and gas project

- Minimum of 5 years experience as a designer in oil & gas project

- Good in AutoCAD software to perform 2D design drawings

- Good in 3D PDMS/AVEVA software to perform 3D design modeling

- Good in AVEVA Electrical sofware

- Proactive & team work

- Good communication with peer

- Able to work under pressure and over the normal business hours
