Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is actively recruiting for an Electrical Delivery Lead to help support one of our major clients. This role will be seated within the Client office and will be intergrated into their team.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

 

  • Interface with client to assist with ongoing electrical projects
  • Offshore travel will be required
  • Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects and
    services that are carried out by the team
  • Plan and carry out assigned projects, resolve conflicts, coordinate work with others
  • Provide consultative direction to other functional areas or groups and across the organization
  • Exercise technical authority over groups of professional personnel
  • Exercise considerable credibility, foresight and judgement in conceiving, planning and delivering initiatives
  • Track and report on the metrics which indicate their disciplines progress on a project in relation to a plan
  • Management of key stakeholders in the execution and delivery of contracted activities
  • Direct work assignments, scheduling, and reviews of work in progress
  • Provide appropriate HSSE leadership including compliance with site and office safety requirementsand technical/design safety requirements

 


Skills / Qualifications

 

 

 

  • Electrical engineering degree or technical certification
  • Experience on Nibernia Platform
  • Willing to complete the regulatory training and testing for offshore travel
  • Experience providing professional direction and guidance on complex assignments / projects and guidance to Client
  • Ability to affectively manage resources (personnel, equipment, materials etc) and inspire and
    motivate a team
  • Effective communication skills with proficiency in technical writing and comprehensive
    documentation
  • Demonstrate current knowledge with industry and technology development within discipline
  • High level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of daily work. Strong
    organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and demonstrates personal initiative
  • Possesses integrity, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and is dependable
  • Adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of projects
