Senior Project Manager
 

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 3+ year assignment with the potential to convert to a staff role

15 vacation days, 10 paid holidays, and 5 sick days

The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for providing project management support in preparing and executing engineering and construction projects and managing associated contractors. They work closely with Business Development to ensure projects progress appropriately through the Capital Value Process (CVP). They provide leadership in the execution of work, including defining work scope, engineering and construction specifications, permitting activities, managing engineering consultants and construction management services, as well as overseeing cost reporting controls and construction scheduling for new projects. Intermittent travel required to project sites as deemed necessary and occasionally to business-related locations to support project needs.

  • Works in conjunction with Business Development to progress projects through the CVP.
  • Manages vendors/contractors to ensure they deliver the value and services for which they have been contracted.
  • Monitors and supports the implementation of project controls to ensure project costs, schedule, and scope are met.
  • In collaboration with project engineering provides expert-level input to the technical review process to ensure designs are consistent and within established guidelines.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of strategies to meet company and corporate goals that integrate technical, operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures deliverables are prepared and submitted to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Works closely with construction site management during the field construction phase of the project.
  • Monitors and reports progress of the Design, FEED, or EPC Contractor works.
  • Prepares technical reports and presentations for company personnel during each phase of the project
Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree
  • 10 years of Project Management Experience
  • LNG or Net-Zero experience in Project Design and Project Management
